A Christmas card commission I did for ~karthur of Hubert and Pascal from Tales of Graces. I was planning on posting this around Christmas time, but never got around to it. Better late than never, eh?

I've been watching a Let's Play of Tales of Graces f on Nico Nico Douga ever since I got this commission, and I must say it is a hell of a long game! I took a peek at the timer on the latest video I'm on (Part 70) and it's at about 141 hours of game play. O_o;; Are all current generation RPGs like this? (I'm totally out of the loop when it comes to the latest games. I've still got my hands full with all the Japanese SNES RPGs I've been collecting for the last couple years.)

I think it's really dependent on the game, the number of side quests and te payer themselves. Case in point, I've been abusing this trick to ani more money and items in Persona 4 and I'm clocked at 125 hours....and ave been paying on and off since 2009...d'oh DX!

Yes, those things would be major factors for sure. With Final Fantasy XII, I think I'm 120 hours into it (I haven't touched it in YEARS), and although I did some Mark hunting here and there, I think most of those hours were just leveling up my team. I'm nowhere close to the end of the game either. DX

There was a time when I was younger when I'd play through games within three days to a week and would wish they were longer. Now I don't wish that anymore!

Yesssss...I swear there needs to be a 10-30 hour limit on strategy/story-based rpg's
